View Full Version : Million Pound Giveaway
I think we have a winner in 'the worst hour of programming ever made'.
Surely the Dragon's Den lawyers are going to be straight on the phone in the morning. Did they think that no-one would notice? :cuckoo: :oh-hum:

Even for ITV this is a bad show.
Bet it dosen't run the full 7 weeks.
What an awful show. I want my hour back!
And who the hell put Richard Madley as the host!
And how can this not be ripping off DD the only diffrence is 'dreams' instead of investing in a company/idea.
Turned off after the woman who just wanted the money to buy a new tv etc. What a complete pile of cack.
I am so glad I didn't watch this now, I saw that this was on ITV so it would be full of adverts and that Richard Madley was presenting so that was enough to put me off. I can't understand why Dragon's Den's Duncan would want to be part of this either.

They got away with 'Dancing on Ice' so I guess they think they can nick any ideas they want now!

As I went past the tv on the way to the kitchen I seemed to remember seeing Jeffrey Archer and Simon Jordan watching an old woman dressed as a Native American dancing.
I didnt imagine it did I :(
As soon as I saw the opening titles I thought it had the potential to be terrible. I wasn't wrong.
How can people asking for money because they could do with a new sofa ever be good TV?

Coming soon to ITV is 'The one that i want' a search for the lead in the West end revival of Grease.
I've no idea how they come up with such wonderful original ideas..?

What's even better is that the BBC have actually already produced that exact show - for NBC in the US.
So it's not even a rip off of 'Maria' - it's worse than that!
was made to believe by the adverts that it would be another dragon's den, but some of the things people are asking money for  - "we'd like £4050 to travel round the country by train, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity". Was still sorta entertaining in places, tho have to agree that madeley is a complete tit.
That kid was great tho getting 50k for a caravan to help out sick children

I gave up as soon as the bloke earning £40k came on to ask for a free tummy-tuck.
