Cool Packaging
Roll on February or March :)
now that is cool!! I'd seen the boxes lined up but it didn't really give an impression of what the individual boxes were really like, but check out that first piccy!!
Looks good, I'm looking forward to these ones and the good news is that the first series is released just before my birthday.

It does look nice... they're making an effort at least! :) Are these to be metallic? If so, what's the betting there'll be a
"My TNG tin from <x> is dented!" thread within about a day of the release?
£90 though... ouch.

Anyone know if the US price has been set yet for these?

An announcement is expected Friday. So far nothing has emerged on US pricing...
UK's looking at about £70 online, with any luck - don't forget we'll likely have to factor in Mr.Customs + Post Office Handling Fee getting this R1...

same RRP as the X-Files.
But at least we have the option of R1 and R4 which should be a lot cheaper, lets hope they have the same packaging.

That's as maybe, but even Fox ain't dumb enough to expect punters to stump up that much every 2 months. Paramount are a bunch of idiots when it comes to DVD. It's taken them 3 years to get around to releasing the odd disc with some decent extras and we're still waiting for some of their best back catalogue work.
I wonder how cut the R2 versions will be considering we've yet to see uncut episodes on TV over here?
Personally I'd rather have standard cases, I hate these special packagings. I have no intention of placing any order for TNG untill if seen price/packaging comparisions for the different regions, and details of whether the pilot is feature length or two part.
Deaks.
I gotta feeling those images will be removed
