Berry confirms Bond role

Actress Halle Berry, 33, has confirmed she is to appear in the next Bond film - as a villainess.

The X-Men star will play a character called Jinx in the film, which will be the 20th Bond movie and will also mark 40 years of the film series.

The film's title has not yet been revealed.

But the actress has ruled out any nudity, even partial, in the film - unlike her role in summer hit Swordfish, where she appeared topless for five seconds.

What pecker even asked her if she was going nekid in a Bond film? TBH judging by her 'appearence' in Swordfish she can keep them clothes on!

So how many 'Jinx' puns can there be?

Nope even better - Sophie Ellis Bextor auditioned last week :mad: :eek: :mad:

I have to say that it really hacks me off when stories like this emerge - alright its only a bit of fluff etc. etc. but there's enough talented good looking ACTRESSES out there who could handle a role like a bond girl as opposed to some pants singer (who looks like a hamster).

Its like when it was rumoured that Geri was up for Bond 19 and Posh was "being considered" for Charlie's Angels before Lucy Liu stepped in to save us.

Others auditioned for Bond 20 were Salma Hayek & Saffron Burrows - far better choices either of them...

Have to agree that Salma Hayek is very pleasing asthetically and isn't too bad an actress - something I can't really say for Halle Berry - she's atrocious.

halle berry looked grrrreat in the Flinstones. only reason to watch that dire kids movie, imo.
