What's the picture quality like? I've got just one Tartan disc and that's quite awful. I'd appreciate any comments.

Heavy BBFC snippage makes this release a write-off - so who cares about the picture quality?
Thanks for that. I guess I'll have to wait for a decent R1 release.

elite release region 0 i think as well excellent extras totally uncut with extra scenes used in the r-rated version
keeps goin in and out of print dvd boxoffice usually have it

This April, Elite Entertainment will rerelease Re-Animator in a new 2-disc special edition DVD. It's going to be part of their 'Millenium Edition' series. Here's a rough listing of extras:
