Questions regarding Alias... S3 and S4

Hi folks,

Just started watching Season 4 of Alias. Santa was good and got me S4 and S5... :clap:

Anyway, been a while since i watched Season 3, but i remember it ended i think with the Lauren down the mine shaft Episode... ?

So... at the start of Season 4, once we get past Jenni in her skimpy outfits :D in the 2 part-er, we get a wee recap from the Bank Vault from Season 3 and to be honest i cannot remember how they wrote Lena Olin's Character out of the Series.

Wife cannot remember either.

Could anyone shed some light please... ?

I am still working my way through S4, but I think Jack Bristow said that he had her killed as she had taken a contract out on Sydney. It was why they refused to speak early on?

After the end of season 3 she was killed by Jack (offscreen) as she had taken out a contract against Sydney

I seem to recall some confusion with the cliffhanger of Season 3 not matching the resolution at the start of Season 4; because they couldn't get Lena Olin for Season 4 so they retconned Season 3's cliffhanger. But my mind is fuzzy, it's been a while.

But my mind is fuzzy, it's been a while.I remember it similar. Olin lived in NY and Alias was filmed in LA so she quit to spend more time with her family. IIRC the S3 cliff hanger was more interesting than Jack bumping of his ex.

Oddly enough, I've just started S4 too - although only a few days after finishing S3. Have to admit that I was expecting more answers to whatever Sydney read in the vault at the end of S3...

...she was pretty upset with whatever was on those pages. Surely "Jack Bristow ordered his ex-wife to be killed" wouldn't take up THAT many pages! Oh, and the whole APO thing is pretty far-fetched even by Alias' standards! I'm still enjoying S4, but thus far it doesn't match the previous three seasons (IMHO)

I thought what Sydney read at the end of S3 was that her father had nducted her into the Project Christmas program as a young kid

Just finished Season 4... !!! What an ending!!! :eek:

Oh and... Looks like they answered my original Lena Olin question... Good to see her back in the show!

On to Season 5 now.
