HBO is releasing a 3-disc set of Oz: The Complete First Season on March 19, 2002 at $64.98 (MSRP).


DVD Special Features:
2 exclusive audio commentaries delivered by creator, writer and co-executive producer Tom Fontana and star Lee Tergesen (Beecher)
Deleted scenes with audio commentary by Fontana
A featurette showcasing interviews with Fontana, co-executive producer, Barry Levinson and selected cast members
Music video from the “Oz” soundtrack called “Behind the Walls” by hip-hop artist Kurupt featuring Nate Dogg

About bleeding time too! Its only 3 discs though, i hope the picture quality wont suffer. It isn't exactly cheap either at $65 but at least they are finally gonna release it. Only 3 more season releases to go then we are up to date. :)

If only they would have got Schillinger to do one with him aswell.

Thats the best news i've heard in a long time, i can't wait to watch these on DVD. The commentaries could be great. No heard anything about when 4.2 will be on E4, i managed to get a tape of the series from the States, its great, some very good stories in it, well worth looking forward to, Luke Perry is great in it.

Confirmation at last, superb. Fantasic series, only seen the first three seasons but it ranks as a favourite, the very first episode had me hooked. Seems a little pricey - but that won't stop me. :D

Im simply going to walk into HMV with a credit card and buy all the sopranos and oz box sets on dvd.

oh, and the simpsons.
