What chance of getting the full version (as shown on C4) rather than the edit released on VHS?
I think I know the answer!
Sounds like Kevin Booth's getting round to a Sane Man DVD - keep your eyes on www.sacredcow.com (http://www.sacredcow.com) !
I have had it on order from Play247 for months, but it's still shown as TBA. It was originally supposed to be out in April 2001, than was put back to October, but they don't even give a date now:mad:
I am begining to think it will never see the light of day.

Don't both have footage that the other doesn't?
I don't remember the Ch4 version containing the 'Goatboy' material and I think the video is missing some of the LA riot gags.

There were different release dates and all of a sudden it went missing.
The same can be said of the wonderful "Perfect World". Gone...
I wish the BBC would release "The Stand Up Show" on dvd. It's a laugh riot...
Cheers... :D

Thats right - I remember buying the video to replace my recorded off channel 4 copy. I knew it would be a longer version, hence the reason to buy the video :) But I was quite miffed to find some jokes from the tv edit weren't on the video.
Also theres some really bad editing in that video (usually incorparating that evil bill, fire screen thing) It seems theres even more missing. I even emailed channel 4 at the time but I didn't get a response :(
This deserves a full DVD release. A great comedian

That's great news as my video copy is getting a bit knackered.
