i have a pioneer 626d dvd and seem to have lost my remote control,can anybody tell me where i might buy a new one?

Try down the back of your sofa:) Seriously, might work out cheaper for you to get a cheapo one4all and set it for pioneer.

I needed a remote for my 5 year old Panasonic Video - old one bust. Went to Dixons who have some sort of replacement parts service.

Well impressed by the service. They gave me a catalogue and I ordered over the phone from home. Remote turned up in a few days by post - very efficient.

If I can dig out the catalogue, I'll post their phone number/webste here.

theres www.partmaster.co.uk which was mentioned a few weeks back but they don't list the 626, might be worth contacting them though

You could try these people, they have treated me well and found the remote for my very old Pioneer stereo for just £23. You don't want to know what I was quoted elswhere.
I haven't got any links or interest in them they just treated me well.

I was quoted £59.99 by a local retailer for a replacement remote for my 16 year old Pioneer DCL Z91 amp. Hope that eases your quest for knowledge:D
