View Full Version : Questions about the Truffaut boxsets (MK2)
Am I right in thinking that the first boxset has English subtitles for the films and all the extras? And that the second and third sets only have subs for the films?
Thanks!

That's correct. Just to add that Box 2 (The Adventures of Antoine Doinel) has subtitles for the two shorts, Les mistons and Antoine ey Colette, as well as for the features. But none of the extras in that box or Box 3 (Les polars) has subtitles.
Thanks Gary. I'm very tempted to order all of them but will probably get box 1 first because of the subs.
I reckon that these discs will eventually be released in the UK by Artificial Eye. They have previously issued a number of Truffaut titles on VHS, and they obviously have a good relationship with MK2 after releasing the 'Three Colours Trilogy'.
Of course, it's anyone's guess whether they will create subtitles for the extras on the DVDs from the second and third boxes.
