The Man Who Wasn't There stars Billy Bob Thornton as a laconic, chain-smoking barber who tries to invest in dry cleaning, but his plan goes terribly wrong. That's all I can say about the plot otherwise the film would be spoiled.

From the start of this film the viewer is guessing as to what happens next, an excellent film with superb cinematography in black and white! I found this film completely unpredictable as with each of the various different crimes committed you think you know what is going to happen next, but the opposite happens. The acting is excellent from everybody in it.

While this film is a bit slow it's also very funny. It's probably the Coens' best film since Fargo, so don't miss it.

I agree with everything said above - just don't go and see a midnight showing as I did - because I almost fell asleep and I really would have hated to miss any of it.

I really enjoyed it when I saw it in the cinema a few months back.

It was NOT what I was expecting, and at the time I was a little bemused by it, but in retrospect it's a very good film but I fear it wont fare to well with repeat viewings. :)

Got to see it though.
