Loved the film, which disc to get? I like the sound of the Infinifilm stuff...anyone got the R1? Or should I get the R2, cheaper and with a good looking set of extras anyway??

i have the r1 and on my 709 the infinifilm stuff causes the picture ration to keep hopping about which is very annoying.

You could go for the R4 edition if a DTS soundtrack is something you'd like to have. Having watched the R1 edition, I can't see what having a DTS track would add to the movie, but the choice is there.

What firmware does your Sammy 709 have as my 709 has no probs at all with firmware 3.28?

The MichaelD (http://www.michaeldvd.com.au/Reviews/Reviews.asp?ReviewID=804) review suggests that R4 has virtually all the extras of the R1 plus a dts track and PAL formatting but minus the Infinifilm feature. You pays your money...

I got the R4 edition - worked out at about £11 from Devoted.com.au.

Seems to have all the extras from R1 and DTS

I've no idea actually - but this is the only disk i've ever had a problem with (my 709 is about 2 years old)
