That 70s Show - which season is the best?

I want to get my bro a season of 'That 70s Show' for Xmas (as a stocking filler)!
He really likes the show but doesn't have any of the sets as yet. Logic would say get season 1 first but of the seasons released in the UK (1-4) which is the strongest, comedy wise? :shrug:

Start from the beginning , its how I watched it and its always the best way to do a show, especially one that spans for so long and has inter-season plotlines. There's a good chance your brother hasn't seen the very early ones, or he's seen them mixed in with other seasons, or missed episodes etc. Until about s5 or s6 when it started going a bit "hmmm" the first seasons were pretty consistant quality wise from memory.

Start with Season 1 definitely.

Any of the first 3 seasons (which I've probably seen the most of) would be great choices. To be honest, I'll have to agree with the above and say that it makes most sense to start with Season 1, even if your brother does already know the running story arcs / plotlines etc.
