Mum recently got a Samsung 32" LCD, to be honest the sound on it is not that great.
She wants a bit more and for Chrimbo I'd like to get her a cheap surround sound setup ie less than £100, tight git me.
I've narrowed it down to 3 contenders so far.
LG 360HTE - aux input and fairly beefy by the look of the specs, going to try and have a look at one at lunchtime. £99.99 from Currys (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://tracker.tradedoubler.com/pan/TrackerServlet?p=1469&a=60823&g=13819)
Eltax HT153 - 2 aux inputs, not quite so powerful, manual power switch, not bad for Mum, capability to add a different sub in the future and Component out. £69.99 from eBuyer (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=33903&a=60823)
Eltax HT253 - 1 aux input, fine as I'm only taking the output from the TV into this, component and same as above but a bit more powerful. £99.99 from Boots (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://tracker.tradedoubler.com/click?p=4907&a=60823&g=38424).
Anyone got any other suggestions, she's not a huge movie fan and isn't wanting ear splitting dB levels, just a bit more punch than the LCD is giving her.
