View Full Version : Xena boxset on R4
Hi,
Does anyone know if the forthcoming Xena boxset on R4 carries the episodes in the right order or are they jumbled up as on the R2 discs?
Thanks in advance

The last time I had a query with a region 4 box set I e-mailed the nice people at Ezy who answered my query in next to no time.

I don't know about Region 4, but over in Region 1 they are starting to release them but they are starting with the last series first.
If you do find out about the R4 version from Ezy let us know because I might be interested in it aswell.
Thanks
I would doubt it. the discs are encoded r2/r4, so unless they managed to sell so many in the UK that a repressing is required I would imagine that they'll be the same discs.
Of course, such a cock-up should immediately require a recall and repressing, put Universal UK don't seem to give a monkey's toss!
EzyDvd have replied to say they don't have information regarding episode running order yet but will post it in site when it arrives :)

http://www.michaeldvd.com.au/ says the R4 Xena Season 1 discs are in correct episode order.

My part 1 boxset from Family Box Office arrived yesterday and I can confirm they are indeed in the correct order :)

Bloody typical.
I assumed that because the UK release was coded for r2 and r4 and Universal Playback apparently couldn't give a moneky's about the mistake, that the R4 release would be the same.
WOW! I wonder if this means that I can swap my discs for the newly pressed ones if I send them to Universal?
I doubt it. They never even had the decency to reply to my complaint :( Bunch of cowboys.
