Apologies if this is duplicated anywhere.
I know this film has been savaged by everyone but the dvd is out
next week-can it really be that bad????
Surely getting to see sexy Mariah on DVD can't be all bad...has anyone here actually seen it???

I saw this a few weeks ago.

Mariah :nuts: is actually very good in this!! No, honest she is.

Only problem is that she isn't given alot to work with. The story is quite unoriginal but I suppose the movie in itself is watchable - or should I say she is very watchable.

One for the fans I think.

If you want to see plenty of Mariah, buy this months FHM and/or order the R4 edition of her hits DVD. Got most of her best videos on there for less than a tenner. :D

Can anyone who has seen this confirm if it’s of the "so bad it’s good" genre? If so it could well be worth picking up for double bill showings with Showgirls.

I caught it at a preview & had a blast, it really is an embarassing mess with laughable dialogue & one hell of a continuity cock up involving a cat that had the whole cinema screaming out loud with laughter!
And as for that opening club scene with her dancing to remixed 80's disco music!?!

Get it, get stoned & enjoy.

And yes it fits right along side Showgirls in the so bad it's good stakes.

This is kind of what I was getting at really when I originally posted this thread. As with Showgirls, it'll be a chance to look at a fit female (Mariah), listen to some half decent tunes and basically have a bit of a laugh.-Sod it, I'm buying it!

First time i've seen the words 'Fit' and 'Decent tunes' used in association with Mariah Carey.

TBH she ain't all that. I think there are loads of better looking women. The film, I like the explanation in the link (judging here as I have never seen it)
