Has anyone else bought a Pronto and loaded the software then thought that platting sawdust would be easier? Maybe I'm just tired, but it all seems Greek to me. I have been to remotecentral, but there doesn't seem to be any codes for the equipment I have. Anyone got any tips???? PLEASE I'm going insane here

Take it easy and start with the basics. Just getting a few of the sample buttons on a panel and then learning the codes in will help a lot.

I have found downloading codes to be somewhat limited in helping me and I tend to just learn all of the codes I need.

Anything in particular you need some help on?

I does take time to get it right, but I never read the manual before programming mine. The thing I found most useful was downloading complete .ccf files from remotecentral and seeing how they were constructed.

What exact equipment do you have and maybe we can help a little.

My equipment is:

-Toshiba 46wh08 rear projection TV
-Panasonic A360 DVD
-Sony SLV-SE810 VCR
-A Pace Cable Box - although I believe that this is incompatible with the Pronto

Cheers guys

if they don't list the exact same model number, try a cff from a similar model, most will have the same IR codes e.g sony tv's all use a generic code. I'm sure I've seen an A360 ccf there before.

All I did was download a complete CCF file from Remote Central and simply map my remotes to the buttons. Much easier than trying to download configs for my equipment
