Looking at buying a Razr V3 for my daughter for Xmas - Its has to have an Mp3 player. Do all the V3 have this capability? Many, many sites seem to contradict themselves!!
I think that the V3 does but it's ultimatly useless due to I think 5MB of space on the phone and no option to add any. I beleive the V3i fixes this problem by allowing you to use memory cards for songs, don't quote me on that.

Now that makes sense - anyone care to confirm this

Yeah, I've had one since they first came out, they have limited memory (5Mb as already stated by Smash41), no memory card /stick. The sound through the headphones that came with it is however surprisingly good.
There may be newer version out which do have memory sticks, but not that I know of.

All will play mp3's, but as has been stated the original V3 does not have a memory card slot. The V3i does, as will newer versions than that.
Worth bearing in mind that it won't have a normal headphone socket, and the supplied headphones are usually just a single earpiece handsfree jobbie. You might be able to buy 'proper' headphones for it though.

God the more I read the less I like the phone.
Anyone care to recommend me another PAYG phone.
Its has to have mp3 player, camera, flip phone, and preferably pink (or made pink!!)

I'd avoid RAZR like the plague to be honest - don't Sony do a sliding mp3 phone that would fit the bill?

CPW are selling the KRZR K1 again this weekend for £129.99 only prob is its blue but coolest fone out there at the moment.
V3i does indeed have a memory card - one of those tiny weeny cut down jobs which comes with an adapter to fit in card readers. I got my daugheter one from Virgin - free with a £20pm contract. Memory is shared with photos of course.
I have to say it's not my type of phone but she likes it - we've had 2 replacements though. The first just died (I suspect it was doused in fizzy pop although this was strongly denied) and the second was faulty out of the box. Virgin replaced them both with no quibbles.
It did come with some sort of earphone but she never used them and they've now gone missing so I can't say whether they were any good or not.
I can't recommend anything else - I've got a bog standard Nolia and my other daughter had some Sony slidy thing but has dumped it and gone back to her old Samsung as the touch sensitive buttons were just too fiddly.
