View Full Version : Dell 2600 LCD TV- Need urgent help!?!

I have a Dell 2600 LCD TV which I purchased cheap through the forums last year.

The TV runs out of warranty at the end this month, it has developed a loud hissing noise from the speakers.

I reported the fault to Dell, they responded by sending me out a refurb tv- But I refused delivery as the tv was in an awful state/condition, they then sent me another one today but once again I have refused delivery of the tv due to poor condition.

The tv I am returning is in mint condition- I refuse to be given a crappy refurb set.

Can anyone help me as to where I stand with this situation? They are sending me out another one tomorrow but quite frankly I am not happpy to recieve a refurbished tv. Surely Dell should either replace my tv with a brand new equivalent or take mine away for repair and loan me a tv for the duration?

I have rang dell and complained about the condition of the tv's they are trying to give me, and the fact they are wasting my days off because I am waiting in for delivery's.

Has anyone had a similar problem? What options do I have with regards to getting a new replacement tv?

Please can any of you help me?
