I really want to see Abel Ferrara's Angel of Vengeance (aka Ms. 45) in an uncut form. I haven't seen the film at all in any version - although I know about Greek and Australian uncut VHS, and a rare UK uncut VHS that quickly got recalled, is there an uncut version of this film on DVD?

I am only aware of the Anchor Bay version which is Cut.

Maybe AB will release an uncut version of this film in the future, then.

Anchor Bay do not have the rights to this film. The (cut) R1 disc was actually released by Image Entertainment.

To be honest, unless you get off on slightly more graphic rape sequences, there's little to choose between the two versions - the Image DVD is just as powerful and effective to my mind as my uncut VHS tape. The film's power comes from Zoe Tamerlis' performance and the overall narrative thrust, not on individual violent moments.
