View Full Version : Things To In Denver When You're Dead
Does anyone know if next weeks (?) R2 release of this classic will be anamorphic unlike the existing R1 release?
Cheers

Not sure mate, but this is a classic film and really needs the SE treatment IMO!
Definitely needs the S/E treamtment mate! I have the R1 version and while it's ok it isn't great. Anyone else know if the R2 version will be anamorphic?

Quick search churned this (http://www.dvdoo.com/dvdoo/film.asp?Command=6038) up, but dunno if this is reliable, or the same version as will be released here.
I'd love to see a SE of this as well.
Anyone picked up a copy of this today? Is it anamorphic or just letterboxed?? Would have got one myself if I knew whether it was anamorphic or not??? The case didn't specify either way.:(

The Danish version at the above link has to be worth considering, at only £5 delivered ;)
just been reading a review at the DVD Review magazine website and it says in the tech specs that the picture is Anamorphic 1.85:1
The review is quite bad to be honest but they did give the picture and sound 4 stars each so if thats all you're worried about then you should maybe pick it up.
here's a link:-

though that Danish version might be worth going for, especially as the price is so cheap!
Also, play.com are selling the R2 UK version for £13.99 which i suppose is an ok price, should have been cheaper though.
Thanks for all the info - now I can finally get rid of my non-anamorphic R1 version and get the R2 version from Play for £14. Sweet.
