I have just bought this today. It is the 2 disc special edition for £19.97 at my local Music Zone. It is an excellent concert and with 5.1 DTS on the first disc for the full concert and have the special effects bouncing from one speaker to the next, it makes you feel that your are at the concert.

There is a one disc version and that retail at £15.97 at Music Zone. My local HMV were going to charge me £19.97 for the 1 disc version and £22.97 for the 2 disc special edition.

Superb show and it came as a shock as I'd somehow missed anything about it! Have booked my tickets for the 2007 tour already!

Deaks - that link is only meant to be for people who have actually bought the DVD!

Seconded though - the DVD is truly stunning. I thought the SACD was the ultimate sound quality - but this DTS mix beats even that.

Oh, and the documentary on the second disc is DTS too.

How much are the tickets for the London shows out of interest? The site wants me to register :(

£47 plus handing/postage. My four arrived today. I've booked for the London venue which is the Grenwich O2. That's the Millenium Dome to you and me when it re-opens next July.

Hmm, thats not too bad.

I am sorely sorely tempted as this was the first LP I ever bought, and I have also got the 10 disc set. I LOVE WOTW.

I simply couldn't afford to go this year, but may bite the bullet and go this time. Only slight problem is overnight accomadation in London but I'm sure I'll sort it.

It's gotta be worth it.

Fair enough, my apologies.

I can only go by what it says on the leaflet with the DVD:

BY PURCHASING THIS DVD YOU CAN BOOK NOW FOR THE 2007 TOUR BEFORE TICKETS GO ON GENERAL SALE IN FEBRUARY.

Surely there wont be any tickets left in February!

I've seen this happen before were a CD has a supposedly exclusive link only for it to be made available for anyone which kind of defeats the object.

Picked this up last night and whilst the DTS soundtrack is stunning I was a bit underwhelmed by the visuals at the gig after hearing how incredible it had been - presumably it was a much more impressive visual spectacular if you where there than comes across on the DVD? It all looked a bit Spinal Tap with the Tripod to be honest and Burton's disembodied head looked like it had come straight out of storage from a Dio tour in the late 80's. I appreciate it's the music that's important obviously but found it strange that people had raved to me about the stunning set and lighting.

Not sure about the 2007 tour - didn't make the last one as I felt it was just too expensive (best part of £150 for the two of us by the time you figure in transport and two drinks each at a bargain £3.50 each at the NEC) and I still don't think I can justify it now

Hi, I got the live DVD for Christmas and am loving it! The sound and vision is EXCELLENT, singing/acting and musicians - perfect! So much so that I have bought two tickets for Birmingham next Dec.

I just have one question. How did they manage to make it sound so exactly like the original album? Don't get me wrong. I would rather this production than a 'LSO Does Classic Rock War of the Worlds' type thing, but if you close your eyes and just listen then for certain parts it sounds exactly like the cd is playing. In my experience even the best groups sound quite different live, but this work is nigh on 30 years old! And Herbie Flowers' bass lines are identical!

Again, I LOVE the album and LOVE the dvd but I am really impressed at how faithful the one is to the other!

Just got the DVD today from the Play sale. Is it me, or is "Sculpting the Richard Burton Head" the best name for a DVD extra ever?
