Hi Everybody,

I've got a TV with two scart ports, one that is RGB and the other that is non-RGB.

Currently, I connect my DVD player to the RGB port and run it in RGB mode.

I have a scart splitter box that I connect my playstation and satalite decoder connected to the other port.

The scart splitter box has only one RGB input into it.

What I want to get hold of is a scart splitter box with 2 or more RGB inputs so I can run my playstation 2 and my DVD from it both in RGB mode.

I went to sevenoaks today and the only thing they had was a massive box, that looked like it's primary use was copying videos for £100 which was far more than I wanted to spend as it had far more functionality than I needed.

Does anyone know where I can get a scart splitter box with multiple RGB in a RGB out?

you could try here, they seem to have most types of connections

Thanks Sharky, I went in there today and there was not much selection and I didn't want to confused the pimply faced assistants in there asking them ;)

Looking online they have the A/V Centre, which is £90!!! All I want is two RGB's in and an RGB out, surely there is a smaller less expensive way to do this?

Is it definitely RGB on all ports?

I don't have the unit myself but it says RGB on the description and the photo... I know some other members here have it so maybe someone can confirm this?

Or maybe you can email beyond, they're pretty helpful.

Yes, both inputs are RGB.

Anyone got one and know what the quality is like?

I generally use cambridge audio arctic cables, so I want something that doesn't loose too much of my signal in the switching process (sorry to be so fussy, I don't want to spend £100 on a massive box, but I also don't want to compromise my setup with a £5 box).

you're more likely to lose quality with a big box full of electronics causing inteference than a simple box providing simple split circuitry

I've used the B-Tech 22 scart switch for well over a year and I can confirm that there is no noticeable loss in picture quality (using IXOS scarts and a Toshiba SD100 on a Tosh 56" RPTV). I've also used it on a 36" Panasonic and again couldn't notice any difference. So get one!
