I'm a big golf fan and am currently watching the tour championship on SKY sports 2 standard def
As usual the signal that the americans broadcast is terrible. Blurry, misty just totally horrible. (not like the european tour picture)
I was wondering if the picture is any better on the sky sports HD channel for this event? is it crystal clear like high def should be?

Nope ..i'm afraid that if sky take the feed from the U.S broadcaster there is nothing that they can do...although i have heard that in the near future that some American HD broadcasts will be available on Sky...prolly the American footy though ...
by the way the blurry picture is all to do with N.T.S.C i think ....
I have just checked and ..yes it is slightly better , due to the upscaling ...... but not that noticible :|

damn...
hopefully next season when setanta sports take over PGA tour coverage they will show a better feed...
channel 5 always show highlights from the same event later in the week and is crystal clear quality so don't think it's the NTSC causing it, just a crap live feed from the U.S
