Very curious to know what the exclusive R2 feature is. Also lists a 5.1 DD track. Judging from the length of the movie and the supplemental features, I’m wondering if it won’t be a 2 disc set.

RRP is £24.99 which suggests it will be a 2 disc set.

Think MGM would have to make this a two-disc set given the extra documentaries over the single disc edition. Think I'll wait for the R4 edition to appear, also in May as no doubt it'll be cheaper even after shipping has been taken into account.

Hope they've made the effort to add an anamorphic print this time?

MGM remastered 'The Magnificent Seven' for the S.Edition,so i can't believe they would not do the same for 'the Great Escape'.Has to be anamorphic widescreen,which will stop the camp wire shimmering,etc.
