Absolutely brand new to the DVD arena, i've managed to worm my way through all the connection hassles and i'm very happy at the majority of the 'new experience' i am enjoying. However, i have one small problem that i can't seem to solve and wonder if there is any advice ou there that may help me.
Some of the DVD films i have rented display subtitles at the start of each chapter. I go to my subtitle button to turn them off, but as soon as the next chapter starts.......they re-appear. This is obviously diminishing the enjoyment level somewhat. I've read my user manual (and this is where i show my naivety i guess........as i purchased a 'Megadata Saturn 7100' player). The documentation is poor to say the least though in fact it does suggest that there is an 'on / off' switch for subtitles in the set up menu. If there is, i can't find it. Am i doing something wrong ?.......or is this something i will just have to get used to ?
