Last night whilst watching a DVD, my dvd player (sony DVPS-725)switched itself off. I then turned it back on and was forwarding the disc to where it had been when it did it again. On trying to turn the DVD player back on, all i got now was the power going on for a few seconds and then turning back off again. I disconnected the player and then plugged it back in again and tryed to turn on the power. Same thing, went on for a few seconds, although nothing showed up on screen, and then went back to standby. The dvd player is just over a year old and is multiregion. Has anyone else had the same problem or know if there is anything i can do to fix the problem?
