I can't remember what it's called (?? falls??) at the moment.
I've heard that it's supposed to be quite good.
It's called Mullholland Dr. (http://uk.imdb.com/Details?0166924) - not to be confused with Mullholland Falls (http://uk.imdb.com/Details?0117107). Haven't seen but it has a score of 8.3 on IMDB.
Yes I saw it at the LFF and think it was absolutely brilliant. No one makes films like that these days so treasure him while weve got him. Of course if youre not a fan of Lynch then this film will absolutely not convert you. If you were lost on the highway and delt that film was garbage then this one wont be any easier on the brain cells. If you think, like me that was one of his finest yet then you are definitely in for a treat with Mulholland Drive. Its sumptuous to look at, absolutely beautiful, dare I say a work of art. Also and maybe most important it gets you thinking and talking afterwards and im sure everyone will have a different version of how they see it. Just when you think youre getting somewhere near the truth, wham it just goes off somewhere else. Its about as near to a dream as you are ever going to see.
Anyways see it you will not go home disappointed. unless of course u hate lynch in which case you wont be converted and Im not going to patronise you because each to their owna nd this is definitely an acquired taste.

Just got back from a sold out showing at the Covent Garden Odeon and I can certainly recommend Mulholland Drive. But then again, I'm a huge fan of Lynch's work so I kind of knew what I was in for.
My only gripe was that the film didn't have enough menace unlike a lot of his previous work and contained too many 'comedy' moments. It reminded me of Tarantino in places. But it would be a shame if all his films were the same. It still pays off in spades if you allow yourself to be carried along and just like his other movies all the pieces seem to fit except one - now matter how you arrange them. I can't wait to see it again just to pick up on the details I missed.
So definitely catch this one if it's playing near you. I was very shocked to see that it's hardly showing at all across London considering it has received four Golden Globe nominations and has gained almost exclusively positive reviews. Maybe with 20 showings a day for LOTR it's hard to find space for something like this!
All in all 8/10 from me.
