View Full Version : Buy one get one free on CSI boxsets at Sendit.com
Sendit.com (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://tracker.tradedoubler.com/click?p=17328&a=60823&g=109565&url=http://www.sendit.com/dvd/list/0610_csi) are doing a buy one get one free on all CSI boxsets. Probably not worth it for the older ones but the more recent series are also included in the offer.
All boxsets are priced at £29.89.
Its just the half boxes though. So each season for £29.89 which is still more expensive than going R1.

Hello, I just bought season 5 from Filmnight (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://scripts.affiliatefuture.com/AFClick.asp?affiliateID=17278&merchantID=582&programmeID=1979&mediaID=0&tracking=), the half seasons are £13.95 there - makes a full season about £27 something, slightly cheaper than sendit but not a lot in it really.

Not really. A whole season is still about £30 on R1. I collect the R2's so, I will pick up the latest seasons when I can. I always wait until they are £15 per half season.
It is also a excellent way to get CSI NY S2 considering it isn't out until the 23rd Oct. It usually takes around 6 months to get them reduced/BOGOF.

Er yes really, I can pick up CSI NY S2 Region 1 for £27.99, right now and I also got season 5 of CSI for £26.99 region 1 when it was released.
If you cant get them for that price then your looking in the wrong places.

My point still stands. That is still about £30. I don't see why people get so wound up when someone posts a bargain and then critises the thread for the sake of a few pounds and not even comparing the same region. I would rather have the PAL transfer than save £2 or £3 with the R1's.
I have also seen CSI NY S2 for that money but I would expect customs on top of that which pushes it over £30. I got CSI NY S1 for £16 (£12 plus postage) but only because it was a misprice. There hasn't been anything like that with S2.

That is still only 50p difference from the £30.

Who was getting wound up? And who was critiscising the thread, I just pointed out that you can get the whole season sets from region 1 land for less than was quoted in this thread. I didn't see that posted as a seperate bargain thread elsewhere, because for region 1 it isn't a bargain, its only this ripoff country that this price would be a bargain.
Theres no customs on the prices I quoted btw and I picked up the same misprice from Amazon.com (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/thedvdforums-20) also.
Id rather import at less cost to me and make a little stand against the rip off half seasons that we get over here.
If you want to pay £2 - £3 more for the same thing then go right ahead, but I really dont see your point. :oh-hum:
You can also pick up most of the R4 PAL CSI complete boxsets from Australia for £25 - £30 or even less in some cases. e.g Season 1 for £18 here (http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/225287) and Season 2 of CSI NY for £26 here (http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/789762) however there may be customs on those prices.
This is a strange discussion. This is a bargain forum. The only reason I'm here is because I do want to save that extra pound or two :?:
Anyway, back on topic, CSI Miami series 4 alledgedly up for pre-order for approx £16 + postage:
http://www.dvdorchard.com.au/product.asp?AffID=600002&PND=124390
I say alledgedly because as far as I'm aware, s3 hasn't been released yet in Aus!?
