Anyone got the beautiful Pioneer Vsx-C300

The slimline silver AV amp for use with the
Silver Pioneer 444 or 545. Looks to die for but
does it sound any good ?? Anyone got one or heard one ?

Hi... apologies for not replying sooner as a rarely check this forum now that I have my new Silver Slimline Package!!

So far I'm really pleased with it. It does look very good and to my inexperienced ears the sound is great. This is my first DVD Player and Home cinema experience so I'm not really that qualified to answer anymore.

If you're still considering it I can recommend Justin from Home Cinema Heaven who made me a great offer on the package.

Yeap, doesn`t sound bad for the money, but spending the extra £50 on a Marantz SR4200 is worth the difference in cash. If you get the VSXC300 / SV50 pack its on par with a decent all in one pack, like a Sony DAVS800 or Pioneer NSDV88/77 for sound.
