No thread yet? Have people given up after the lukewarm start to the season?
IMO, this episode was MUCH better. Leaving aside the dull clark/lana/lex stuff, the introduction of Oliver Queen/Green Arrow has a great deal of promise, especially with the excellent arrow show at the end.
One thing I did think - both Lois being a journalist and the super breath were a million times better than in Superman Returns. Hell even the reference to her bad spelling was done better!
The whole thing has left me thinking there mey be hope for this series after all. If only they'd ditch lana...
Green Arrow? I assumed he was one of those from the Phantom Zone........
Tastefully done shots of Lois in tight running gear at the start :)
Lana still alive :( I'd shoot her myself if I were there. Second worst character ever and gets worse every episode. Usual body double again thankfully so we don't have to imagine her undressed............where's that vomit icon when you need it?

Yeah because we all know how hideous looking she is.
Wait aren't you the guy who says that everyone is ugly?
Another soso episode for me.
An entire story about Clark sneezing is stretching it out a bit. Although the inclusion of Green Arrow at the end is interesting.

I enjoyed this episode (WIOeo1=1211111 stop the presses, put it on the front of tomorrows Daily Planet).
Chloe had a nice top on ... seemed a nice way to introduce a new power and a new villian (but Clark can outrun an arrow... oh wait Kryptonite tipped ones which gradually get closer towards Clark, Clark slows down and there's a point of impact somewhere).
On the plus side, Lex Luthor has increased security in his "fortress" (read: baby cot) of doom (read: candy). Does Clark have to be on the guest list now ... or is it "sorry Sir you may not enter" "Ok I'll try round back" "We got security guards there too" "Ok side window?" "DAMMIT"

I didn't think the Green Arrow was a villian, he is in the JLA with Supes.
I think he is trying to find people with similar powers to him and together with Clark and perhaps The Flash will come back for a few episodes and the JLA will start to form.

Oh, he's not a villian..
Oh... emm, he might start of evil then turn good?
Surprise, surprise ... after our one good season opener episode, we're back to dull, boring rubbish ... hopefully the introduction of Oliver Queen will breath some new life into this stale show .... only the sight of sweaty Lois & a nicely blossoming Chloe keeps me awake... :|
He's Aquaman, not the Green Arrow!

The best bit was the opening 10 mins with Lois running being the highlight.

In the comics, Queen is kind on an environmentally friendly businessman/activist. He's mistrusting of all big business and tries to buck the trend - which could allow for some good face-offs with Lex. He's also very wary indeed of Superman (and Batman). So kryptonite arrows to keep clark in check is certainly a possibility (CF Dark Knight returns)...

Vincent Chase??

Oliver Queen is the green arrow.
Massive Spoiler !!!
There is an episode this season called Justice which will have the beginnings of the Justice league ,Green Arrow will feature along with the returning Cyborg,Aquaman and The Flash

Yeah when I read that they had chosen him for the Green Arrow when Aquaman didn't get picked up by the channel I was a bit  Everytime I looked at him in Smallville I just kept thinking aquaman.
Personally I loved the Aquaman pilot and thought Justin was perfect for the part, I guess there's no hope of it being picked up mid-season as the main guy is in smallville.
Oliver Queen is the green arrow.

looks like my prediction above could come true then.

in the superman universe(comics, etc.) does lana ever find out about clarks powers or does she remain ever clueless?

Well in the comics, ie the Man of Steel mini-series that rebooted its continuity...
Clark finds out about his Kryptonian heritage just before he leaves Smallville for good. I seem to recall he freaks out a bit, spills his guts to Lana because he has no-one else to speak to, she doesn't take it too well and Clark disappears for years travelling the world before a major disaster 'outs' his superhuman abilities and he then adopts the Superman costume and persona.
A full synopsis of the Man of Steel mini-series is here.
