Xena R1 dvd question

Does the Region 1 Season 6 dvd box set contain the very last episode of Xena or is it only available on it's own single disc dvd ?

Having both the single disc version of “A Friend in Need” and the Season Six Boxset I can confirm that “A Friend in Need” is indeed included. In fact the Boxset includes both versions, the regular and the directors cut. Although if you want the full commentary then you will need the single disc version.

Am I right in thinking that the region one Xena boxsets have extra features? I was looking at the nice region 2 all season box set in the zip case but then I read it doesn't have extra features, so I don't fancy shelling that much out without any sort of extra features so I was thinking of looking into getting the region 1's instead.

The region1s are loads better and have lots of extras (usually 8 or 9 disk sets). For a start they didn't screw up the first season by putting all the episodes in the wrong order on the discs and then refusing to do anything about it like the R2s!

Yes the R1s have extras, better audio and the episodes in the correct order! R1 all the way.

The Season One Box set of Hercules comprises of the five movies ‘Hercules and the Amazon Women’, ‘Hercules and the Lost Kingdom’, ‘Hercules and the Circle of Fire’, ‘Hercules in the Underworld’, ‘Hercules in the Maze of the Minotaur’ and the thirteen Season One episodes.

For completion the original Xena trilogy eps from Hercules are available as a disc set on R1 (dvdboxoffice sells it for example)
