Wow, what an episode. So much happend.
Governor Tancredi hanged by the Presidents dirty guy.
Mahone going a bit nuts and telling all of the other guy (cannot remember name) and then shooting Tweener. Really did not see him playing him with that girl coming. Really thought he would grass the guys up.
Sucre being played by the womans daughter (the cop) and then turning the gun on all the guys.
LJ being released from Prison by the Sercret Service guy. And then Hot Doc being set up aswell. Also what was the gold key?
And....They found the $5m :nuts:
Really enjoyed this episode really went quick maybe too much happened there are 6/7 major stories all within 43 mins.
But of course will still tune in mext week. :clap:
That was a great episode.It's brilliant to see it back on form.
Poor Tweener at least we all got to see the cute girl one more time!
I could tell someone was going to die in the last few minutes and I was hoping it wasn't Hot Doc.
I reckon she's going to be saved next week by the Secret Service guy.
There's no way Sucre is going to get away with the money so I imagine that will be resolved early next episode.

That was one of the best episodes for a long time.
I didn't see him killing tweener, even though it was clear he'd killed Oscar Shales in the past.
I really find hot doc tasty, especially when she's in anguish!
How did tweener know where the cute girl lived?
I also didnt get the key business... it looked like a blank to me second time around, but when you saw it fall out the first time, not so much - need to check tho.
Probably a lot more I meant to mention, but will come to me later.
I realised what he was going to do as soon as the two of them left in the car together.
I did expect him to make Tweener run so he could shoot him for escaping though.
Surely CSI Utah will come along and find something amiss with the crime scene...
I also thought he said he would leg it and shoot him as he was running away.
I'm pretty sure the key had what looked like a Kings Crown on either end of it.
And of course Haywire making a raft to go to Holland :lol:

I really don't understand the shooting of Tweener. Seemed so pointless to make Mahone look more "hardcore". Looks like he would have cracked as well.

Looking at the schedules this is on a four week break now and the next episode will be on 30th October.

God how annoying. Well, at least lost will be back soon.
I can't believe that! What a cracking episode, and now we're left in the lurch. Boo. :(
I thought the opening of the episode was quite well done too, where you were supposed to think the police were arriving at the house to arrest them all and it turned out to be the woman's daughter. Nice little twist.
But with all these bodies piling up I'm surprised there aren't more suspicious people around!

Come off it lads, its all a bit guff really! Not a patch on 24.
wow! That episode was brilliant! A lot better than all the others in Season 2. Actually changed my disbelief to beliavable again! The tension was superb and finch is a superb fbi come baddy type person. Loved him in Invasion and he is suited to this type of series. Brings back a bit of bad ass to a comical script.
Gutted about the break but Lost is coming so I can live with it :)
and Haywire! what a geezer.
Haywire and his companion get "lost" on his way to Holland now that would be an episode and half.

:( 1st January is tv.com's "not yet scheduled" date.
You can however reasonable bet that 13 episodes will air before Christmas (or 14th of January at the latest when 24 Season 6 starts) though.... then it'll be a three month hiatus so they can coincide with the 24 finale.
Oh yeah and most of Fox's programs are going to be coming back the 30th of October, since Fox have baseball now which it like the Euro (maybe).

Enimen's death was obvious the second he pulled over the car.

OPretty sure the original idea was to run PB through the Jan (complete) then 24 from Jan (Complete). We'll see...
I thought the last episode was one of the best this season!
Just before Tweener was shot there was a few camera shots from behind the bushes, do you think someone was watching or thats just what they want you to think.
Also the reason its stopped for a 4 week break is because FOX are showing the baseball playoffs and world series
Fine episode, lots of good little subplots this week, although I dont believe for a second that Tweener would refuse to take that kind of deal he was offered, especially the way that he's been treated by everyone over the last few episodes, even Michael has been pushing him around & treating him like dirt... i'd have ratted them all out in a heartbeat. :D

well ep on the 2nd, none on the 9th or 16th then next ep on 23rd, so technically it is a **2 week break** (2 weeks without an ep airing - you can't count this week as we have had an ep this week :nuts: ) a 3 week break would make it the 30th ;)

Personally I thought it was the best episode since they escaped. I really did expect mini-eminem to turn up at that girls house nor for the FBI guy to get so annoyed that he shot him
I can't believe Linc fell for that whole TJ thing :brickwall
They might have the money now, but it's certainly not going to be easy

Gotta love how the WhiteHouse agent is gonna go rogue. You know it's coming. It could make the first half of the series if they do it right.
But him going rogue is all part of their plan, he just doesn't know it yet.
He goes rogue, spills the beans to Hot Doc, she believes him and together they crack Michaels code. They go to Michael under the pretence that rogue agent has the evidence to clear his brother about killing the not-dead pres's brother, but the agency are secretly tracking him all the way to Linc.
Thought it was a good idea to make the profiler a legitimate bad guy. Hadn't twigged that he'd killed his previous nemesis and by the end I didn't mind Tweener so his death was significant.
Did anyone else clock what Mahone said to Tweener before shooting him though?
"I've got nothing against you kid... but they do."
Now would they be the voices in Mahone's head, or would they be the White House, who are using the Shales incident as leverage to get Mahone to do their bidding?

What's happened to Belleck? Is he still locked up in that shack with his buddy? Hope they bring him back, he was good comedy value.

Don't know about that, but I thought I saw reflection of other vehicles on the black SUV.
Also another thing I've noticed is that the sports car Lincoln was driving had number plates on. I thought this was unusual as usually US shows don't have number plates on their cars. I could be wrong.

American cars only have to have plates on the back, you might be used to the UK system where we have to have them on the front, so that might be what you were looking for.
Having said that, some cars do still have number plates on the front but I guess it's optional.

Yeah, plates on American cars are state specific I believe. I've even freaquently seen cars in the with no plates (front and rear) which I am not sure as to the reason?

I know in California that there only needs to be one plate on a car and if you buy it brand new from a showroom you are allowed to drive around with no plate for a specific ammount of time, a lot fo the plates just have the name of the showroom they were bought from. - or something like that.

As for Mahone's last comment to Tweener - it doesn't really make sense. Why would the White House et al want to get rid of Tweener? He's nothing to do with anything really. They want Linc and maybe Micheal as well but the others they can just have locked away, they're no part of the plan.
I would be very suprised if Mahone got the order to kill Tweener from up above.

In a recent interview, one of the main producers/creators of the show has indicated that everything will be wrapped up by the end of this season & he doesn't expect there to be a 3rd season, contradicting statements made prior to season two when the writers said they had three seasons plotted out.

he's a pretty good 'plot device' at the moment, taking the tension down a notch for a couple of minutes

Really enjoying this series so far & quite please & surprised how the show has opened up & gone in a few directions.
The killing of Tweener really turned it around for me that & any ideas I had of Micheal & Mahon joining up at some point to sort out the conspiracy have really gone now.
Enjoying this a lot more than 24 these days.
I'm just catching up on this series....I know the thread is a few years old now but I wondered whether Tweener still had the wire on. I'll guess I'll found out in a few episodes time.....
