Surprised there's not been a new thread for this. The first episode last week was very good, with Denny's "doll" being the highlight of the show ..... but this week's is even better, laugh-out-loud funny from start to finish. Denny's "welcoming" of the new lady lawyer pre-credits & later with his exploits with his "date" were hysterically funny .... Shatner just gets better & better. You give him the right lines & no-one on this planet is funnier .... He doesn't even have to say anything! .... witness his priceless expression when he first sets eyes on his height-challenged date.

One of the few US shows that actually gets better as the seasons progress IMO. :notworthy

Shatner does get all the best lines in that show:

"Come on please, if you were new people you would have shown up in the season premiere"

"Their libidos are all out of whack. They can go at it like gerbils".

"All that mascara could be hiding a muslim".

Comedy gold, love that show.

Quite like the new guy, looks like he will give Brad a run for his money.

The bit before the opening credits was just sheer brilliance in writing, wit and delivery and also having the nerve to reference the show itself. Shatner was almost Groucho Marx in his style. Absolutely fantastic - as was his dinner date and interchanges with the "midget".

Interesting that Nip/Tuck, Extras and Boston Legal all featured "midgets" this week - the latter two making some comedy out of it.

BL just gets better though - brilliant. I love the 2 new characters already.

This still remains one of my favourite US shows. Allan Shore's attack at Scientology this week was fantastic, Shatner's relationship with the "dwarf" is fun & the main-plot murder case remains intriguing. Also great to see the lovely Lake Bell back on the show. :n0rty:

I do like the off-the-cuff remarks to the fact that it is a show. After Alan Shore finished his summing up in the Scientology case, he said something like "and that will bring the letters in this week" or the such

And Shatner has found his niche - "Oh come on, you and me, some chubby sex"

This season has been great so far. I love the new cast members, much better than the two "interns" that they introduced last season. The story arc with the murder case this season is probably the best that they've ever done. It seems like they've really turned the quality up a notch this series.

I love the way the dwarf keeps appearing between shatner and someone when he's talking, and they look down and she's stood there!

Lake Bell was looking pretty hot too! Although, I still think Julie Bowen is gorgeous!

The latest episodes seems to be David E Kelley's opinion on Scientology, was halirious,

"This guy is running around saying men from a big clan of intergalactic warloards invaded out volcanos, he's clearly a nut job"

"Basically everytime you **** puke or crap you are a step closer to immortality (farts), getting closer as I speak"

That running joke with the dwarf-lady & Denny makes me laugh EVERY time.

Quite good, icky resolution to the big court case & Lake Bell continues to make me drool. :n0rty:

Who's your Daddy :D
 Damn you! ... I was going to post that. Once again, the running Dwarf joke had me laughing out loud.

Alan's "The lady was looking for something lighter in a size eight." was also a classic.

Loved the sexual tension between Alan and Denise this week. And the fight of course.

There wasn't an episode this week was there? I thought the next eps were on the 26th and 28th of November?

This show continues to go from strength-to-strength. Numerous  moments in this week's episode & Alan as Shirley was a hoot. Only the mighty "The Office" can compete at the moment for Best Comedy show.

I have not seen any of the 3 seasons before. But have now watched all the first 2 and most of the 3rd it has to be one of the best shows i have ever seen.

I thought West Wing and The Sopranos was great but this is right up there with them.

Has anyone else seen the rest of S3? Hopefully will get it done by the weekend.

Season 3 finished airing on Living a few months ago and is superb.
Great ending though a few cast changes for Season 4 which I think will be on Virgin 1.

Loving S4 already. Very good as always - Spader continues to show why he got the Emmy.

It's odd, I hate legal dramas and despised Ally McBeal but this is consistantly the series I enjoy the most.

I like the new cast members although Saffron Burrows looks a bit like a reanimated corpse. Plus John Larroquette's hair scares me for some reason.

I think Saffron Burrows looks great. No wonder Alan is all over her. Not too sure about the other new English girl yet - can't tell whether she's an excellent actor or a terrible one! Yes - agree on John Larroquette's hair. There's something about him that's not quite right but I've liked his scenes so far. Spader and Shatner continue to steal the show though - just brilliant!

Virgin are currently airing Season 1. Does any know if Living have Season 4 or we have to wait for Virgin to show the first 3 seasons?
