Any chance of this coming to DVD in the near future? It was always one of my favourite comedy programmes. It was never even given a proper release on video even though they made about 7 series.

Yeah! I enjoyed this too even it did just get absolutely stupid by the end of it! Still funny though. I also wish they'ed release One foot in the grave entirely. Not best of rubbish!

BFS Entertainment (http://www.bfsent.com/) in the US were due to release a couple of collections of this show a couple of years ago (Best Ofs, if their Dad's Army and Some Mother's Do Have 'Em collections are anything to go by). However, these eventually got downgraded to just VHS releases - and there's no sign of a DVD release forthcoming, but this is the company to keep an eye on for the US market.
As for the BBC releasing them over here, I'd be surprised if it was very high on their priorities list, but then you never can tell with the BBC's DVD department...
