View Full Version : Keyboard Hero? Drum Hero.. Band Hero..?

As I'm currently obsessed with Guitar Hero, but am actually a keyboard player I'm wondering if they'll ever do a Keyboard Hero?

I'm picturing something like an old 80's synth - remember the ones which you could wear like a guitar? Or you could look slightly less cool and sit with it on your lap (I suspect a full on keyboard stand would blow the budget slightly).

Wonder if the concept would work as well as the guitar does? One handed sequences for beginners, moving up to chords and then two hands?

You could then get the drum bit going a'la the Wii Promotional Video and then plug all the controllers in at the same time for some multiplayer Band Hero!


Oh, and then add Singstar into the mix - I'm sure Eyetoy and Dance Mats could be optional components!

With the success of GH I'm surprised they haven't done a keyboard version yet!

I'm sure i've seen at least a drum machine game for the PS2/PSX and possibly even a keyboard one, they might be japan only though.

And, of course, PS1/PS2 Beatmania has a mini keyboard AND a turnable, DJ make some noise wooo!

Be warned, Drummania is rock, ROCK hard.

Might give it a go, although not quite the type of keyboard I had in mind!


Back to Keyboardmania.. there are a couple of YouTube vids of it. Looks slightly more realistic than perhaps I had in mind.

The Guitar Freaks & Drummania games allow 2 player games where one player plays drum and the other plays guitar

Could work out a bit costly tho'!!
