Great top three (I voted for #1 & #3), though Matholwch's second place is one glorious sunset.

Well done all.
I'm suprised mine did better than Tintop's (which i knew was his straight away). I thought TT picked a more interesting/colourful car than I did, and also managed to pretty much get the car side on. Also, I thought it was a tad harsh to put our 2 photos together, as it forces people to directly compare the 2, but then again I suppose people would have done that anyway.

The pics were put up pretty much in the order they arrived so it was mainly bad luck that the two car pics were put next to each other. I did think about moving one further down but as you say people were going to compare them anyway as they are quite similar pics so I thought I'd save them lots of scrolling.

Very suprised to come 2nd, thought there were several much stronger entries this week. Want to thank Taq once again for stepping into the breach and hosting the competition. Posted the other photograph I'd considered on the perpetual thread, but thought this one was better as it had a better defined focal point and a human interest.

Congratulations to RomerojpgX - thats one uber macro! And thought that Pheonix's entry was excellent and highlights the diversity of entries each week and the high quality - can easily imagine that being sold as a canvas print at Habitat. :clap:

Ahhh :) If I had never voted for Matholwch's picture I would have been placed before him :lol:

Nice to come 3rd still :) I thought the fly was maybe a little abstract for most people, but seems not.

Nice to see variation in the winners too.

Brill stuff, do beleive its my first win. Slightly annoyed now I forgot to submit to this weeks compo!

Am definately trying to look for more abstract shots and differing angles. Thanks for the comment about the Habitat print...anyone know the email address of their procurement dept? ;)
