[Wii] Wii and Rear Projection TV's

Hi

This may be a stupid question (or not) but are the Wii Controllers compatible with Rear Projection TV's?

I remember asking to borrow a light gun and game a few years ago - and when someone brought it into work I gave it straight back to them as the box stated that it would not work with Rear Projection TV's.

Do the Wii's controllers work in a similar way? Or do they work differently?


I am considering getting one at some point - but if they don't work with my TV this will make it a no go-er.

Nintendo have already said the Wii controller will work with any display method, even projectors.

It has this "sensor bar" thing that you stick on top of the TV so it will work with anything
