The new Woolworths (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://www.awin1.com/awclick.php?mid=1219&id=30372) Entertainment Meltdown (just another name for a sale really) started today, and there's a few bargains to be had, but I thought Burnout 3: Takedown for £1.99 on Xbox was a standout, as it's an absolute steal for that price. It's instore only, we only had 3 copies in the Leicester store which sold out this morning.

A few others I remember are Midway Arcade Treasures 2 (Xbox £1.99), Onimusha: Dawn Of Dreams (PS2 12.99) and Grand Theft Auto Double Pack (Xbox £7.99). There were a couple more £1.99 Xbox games, but I've completely forgotten what they were. I think one was a Rainbow Six title.

can 360 players play against normal players on this?If you mean on Live, any backward-compatible game will work just fine on Live against people using an old Xbox.

Is it :o, awesome, that's me down to Wollies after work, gave away my XBOX copy to a friend as I did not think it was on the compatability list (and my XBOX has not been Live friendly for some years thanks to XBMC :)).

Picked up GTA3 for £7.99, B3 for £1.99 and Batman Begins 2 disc for £5.99 from Glasgow Argyle Street. Loads of other CDs and DVDs in sale, plus PS2 games

As for games, Bath (Morland Road) had nothing to speak of on any counts. No XBOX what so ever and 1 or 2 D list PS2 games.

Picked up a copy of Burnout 3: Takedown for £1.99 :) Also got Delta Force: Blackhawk Down, LMA Manager 04, and Midway Arcade Treasure 2 all for £1.99 each. There were also a few others such as Project Snowblind @ £4.99, Fifa 03 @ £1.99, Outlaw Golf 2, Red Dead Revolver, Far Cry Insticts, etc... (about all I can remember). All at the Byker store in Newcastle (for those in these parts!)

Might see if my local woolies has it, great game not many other racing games give you points for crashing! my 360 is in many pieces at the mo' but it'll be "fixed" soon.

Sorry for failing to get back soon. Been to the store on friday but only found burnout 2 (~£18) and some other games of £1.99 price tag. So I grabbed a few of the ones i like with price tag of £1.99. took them over to the till and the young lady told me on thursday a guy bought pretty much all of the £1.99 games and he had more than one copy of each game.

She kindly checked through all the stocks while i didn't even asked her to do it. At the end of the day she only found two games at 1.99, i.e. burnout 3 and black hawk down. The copy of burnout 3 was not sealed, and she said the guy didn't want it as it appears a bit tatty. Am very dissapointed, am sure the guy is planning to put it up on ebay otherwise he would have taken the unsealed copy of burnout 3. what i don't understand is why burnout 2 is ~£18 while burnout 3 is £1.99.
