Does anyone know what the 'Beginning of the End' easter egg is going to be in the imminent 'Memento' R2 release? It's mentioned on the press ad.

(Please say it's the movie cut into chronological order)

We're all hoping it will be the chronological version, but we'll have to wait and see....

yeah i agree. surely the chronological oder will remove all the great juicy discussions we have over this movie and maybe in doing so it will lose something. where as right now i think its cracking, to quote the carling ad

The most outstanding feature of the film is it's structure, watching it 'backwards' is rather missing the point :( .

I can think of no reason why the director would want such an option on the DVD, if he wanted the film to be seen chronologically he would have made it that way in the first place!

Most importantly tho there is no commentary!!!!! What happened to it, that was the selling point for me...altho i would have bought it any way but hey.....you know what i mean.

i dont really see how a commentary could work on this film as at least 50% of the film is repeated.

whats the commentator going to do? stay silent? or 'forget' he already said it and repeat himself?

it doesnt have to be a scene by scen analysis. I read somewhere they were trying to get one...I thought it was a good idea thats all.
