This is released in Feb but I wanted to know if anyone had read whether it was now in 5.1 audio for this release?

Can't see that it's really important to have a DTS soundtrack with Groundhog Day as it wasn't exactly an action movie. Nice, but I'm sticking with my order for the R4 edition. Cheaper too. :D

the R4 Special Edition of Groundhog Day is out now if you're interested in getting it right now.

It has all the special features of the forthcoming R1 on it except it only has a 5.0 surround sound track (according to ezydvd.com.au)

So it all really depends on how much you want the film, if you really want it right now go with R4 or you could wait for the R1.

Also, another advantage of R4 is that it only costs about £11/£12 due to great conversion rates at the minute.
