Can anyone tell me what the best editions (and regions) of Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness are?

I'm surprised no-ones replied yet!

I think the new R2 UK release of Evil Dead 2 (The one by Momentum NOT BMG!!!) is the same as the R0 American release, so go with the cheapest version.

As for AOD, the American THX Theatrical version has the best pic & sound quality, but the American Bootleg Cut release has the best extras & a far better version of the film, so I recommend you go for that one.
