Decided to get this for my son at last. Now what do I go for in terms of region and SE and Boxsets????

R2 is exactly the same as R1.
R2 has a box set with 1&2
R1 has a boxset with all 4 films. Due to rights issues Warners couldn't do that for R2 ( Infact they shouldn't have done it in the states and they got a big slap! )
The 3rd and 4th films are rubbish so i'd say stick with R2.
Some sites have the films at £9.99 each and the boxset at about £22. The films are the same in the set you just get a cardboard case.
the R4's are cheeeeep and you'll get 'em in amarays rather than snappers (if that sort of thing bother you).

where can i get S2 on its own and accept Switch cards ?

can be bought from www.futureent.com for only £10.99 and you can pay by switch. Plus they are usually pretty fast deliver as well.
theyre a tenner each delivered from devoted :) no switch, but no snappers too :)
