Just so you have an idea of numbers...
I will be in the Tuesday ones no worries.
Thursdays I might not be able to make as there is a possibility of a local live MTT
on a Thursday and I need live practice ready for next years wsop ;)
tuesdays and thurdays good for me

Can you transfer money to players?
If so would anyone be willing to transer me money on Ladbrokes and i could return it with a transfer on Pokerstars or Paradise?

I was lucky on the last hand, hit a 2 to get a pair otherwise Rawowl would have doubled up
through me and taken the chip lead.
Might have been in, had NTL broadband not been down all night :suspect:
Here's hoping for a better turnout this week, or this league may be shortlived.
I'm sure it will pick up.
I should make Tuesday night, probably not Thursdays for the next couple of weeks....

I missed that hand altogether, as I was checking the cricket score. Still I was surprised at him calling my all in, when he was chip leader early on. Can't remember the exact hands, but I had a pocket pair and was something like 53% to win. Not a call I felt he needed to make, as he was in a strong position :shrug:

I hadn't actually lost that much on the previous hand and I wasn't actually the short stack. You certainly didn't have 3 times my chip count, as after that hand I had about 2200 and you had about 1400. I threw away some half decent hands, when Fadeaway made some big raises, cos that early it's hardly worth getting involved in "coin flips". Besides when it is a coin flip, I prefer to have the 53% chance of winning than the 47% :shrug:
In your position I wouldn't have made the call, but then what do I know I'm only a small stake poker player, you're a big cheese, so you must know better than me :p

rawowl - I'm very pleased with Laddies Poker. He lost, but plenty of promise. My money was wasted on him after 1 sec. He fell out of stalls and after a furlong was plum last and a good 15 lengths of the lead. With 2 left, he was 12/13 and 20 behind. For the rest of the race the camera zoomed in on first 3. Laddies finished like a bullet to come 4th :clap: - 10 behind 1st.

You have no idea what I had on the previous hand and I don't remember either. I didn't play a lot of hands, but a lot I did I won :shrug:
Was it 22 I went all in with? Cos I don't remember. You chose to call me, I won the hand and the tournament and I never once had an all in when I was underdog. I was hardly short stacked when the blinds were still low and I had about 1150 chips.
Let me ask you a serious question, had you known my hand would you have still called me?
Ok I'm going to try to be constructive.....
Just done a check and yes I had bet in the previous hand (on the small blind) and you'd reraised me all in, so I folded, not sure what was wrong with that. There were still 2 players with less chips than me :shrug:
So I went all in with the ducks next hand, on the button. Realistically I have 2 choices: all in or fold. With only you and Chuckman after me, I figured it was a good chance to steal the blinds with half a hand.
Personally I wouldn't have called with your hand, simply because you had the chip lead and no need to get involved in a 50/50 at that stage (with 6 players still in).

I never critised you, I said I was surprised by the call and then said why I wouldn't have called. I thought I was quite constructive, but you dismissed it out of hand and said "Guess I'm right". I.e. taking the "superior player" attitude.
I only play for fun, not to make money, so I'm happy to take any constructive critism for any hands I play :shrug:
