Portable DVD player broken - anything to be done ?

Portable DVD player has given up the ghost

Bought it off Ebay so I'm stuffed with regards to any warranty (only had it 6 months so fairly miffed)

Does anybody fix these things & how much does it cost ?

I would say you would be better binning it and starting afresh :eek: unless of course you had it covered by house insurance with accidental damage and 'dropped' it ;) although you would probably cop it for the excess amount. In my case that's £60 :(

If it's a budget player then not worthwhile IMHO but if it's something like a tasty Panasonic higher end jobbie, then..........
