Hedwig & the Angry Inch (R1)

Having been a huge fan of the stage show, I've just added a review of this DVD to DVD Times (you can read it <a href="http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?page=Review&id=489&story=2543">here</a>). I'd be interested to see what others made of this film, especially those who saw it first in the cinema.

Probably my favourite DVD of 2002 - highly recommended, just sorry I never saw the stage production.

I didn't get to see this in the cinema, but I've been sent a review copy on video (!) which I've already watched twice. It's certainly grown on me!

I keep hoping the stage show will return to the UK for all those who missed it first time round (blame half-hearted reviews for its very short run).

saw the stage show and the cinema release and got the disc. this is an excellent package, made me really wish i'd seen jmc in the role. the doco was great showing all the other hedwigs and stuff and darn it isn't jmc the cutest! my fav disc so far.

Definitely agree about JMC! Hope to see him at some of the upcoming awards ceremonies. Most annoyed that I didn't get to see him do his impromptu appearance in Edinburgh - but I like the Hedwigs I saw too (especially the British understudy one, he was very cute!)
