Looking at connecting one of these to a Freeview box to be able to transmit the picture to another tv.Going to use it when up visiting the parents. What I want to know is can this transmit Remote control commands as well.It doesnt seem to mention anything about it where as this one does.

http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=5101&productId=276124

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I'd say possibly not as their other products state the 'magic eye' feature if it's there

The page does state this though "Remote relay function allows you to control source equipment from receiving location"

I'll email them and ask.As its available from Argos then I could always try it and if not then take it back.

In that case, I'd say that was pretty certain that it does, missed that.

Check out the bottom two pics on the AEI webpage, you can see two leads coming from the unit, the lead on the right is the plug/adaptor, the lead on the left connects to whichever equipment (say a sky box) you are sending the picture from, the same lead on the other unit (which plugs into your second tv) is the same sensor which allows you to use the existing remote control at the location you are sending the picture to
