I ordered this a while back from ********* and just noticed on their site that it's listed as delayed, I seem to have completely missed this - what happened?

I don't think you will see it till around Sept this year.

First it was set to be released about now by Buena Vista, but they then delayed till May as they were concerned the existing version's sales would be hurt. These concerns have grown even more for BV and so have delayed until the 2nd quarter of 2002. Obviously they have info relating to pre-orders of PH: DC and are hoping people will buy an exisiting version to tide them over!

Errr that aint actualy true, the real reason for the delay is the amount of special features is massive and they wont have the actual disk finished untill the release date.

The dvd's producer David Prior gave this reasons in the home theatre forum, saying bascily that there are loads and loads of stuff to be put together.
