View Full Version : The Italian Job
Anyone know if The Italian Job is available on DVD?
No, not at present. However it seams as if it might be released in June of this year :)
Just to repeat what Alan. b said, it looks like it could be out in June according to this - http://www.dvddebate.com/article.php?sid=2470&mode=thread&order=0

Long overdue IMO.
Fingers crossed for a decent release of a fantastic movie.:)
Seem to recall that a commentary involving Michael Caine was recorded sometime during 2000 in the UK. Hope Paramount make a decent job given their stalling with this title.
Its official - well Play have it on release for 3/6/02 :)
I have had this bugger on pre-order since last july.
can't wait
I've been waiting for this DVD release since 1969... and I was only born in '80
Thats how much I want this release!

They key word in that phrase is Paramount. Apart from 'Forrest Gump', they've not exactly excelled themselves at producing decent DVDs - especially R2. Let's hope they get this one right....

That's what worries me about any movie owned by Paramount. Without exception, I think they have to be the worst DVD producer on the market today. I can forgive Warners their naff R1/R2 snapper cases because they put out mostly decent discs, but Paramount usually give no extras and the usual retail price!
