Being far to lazy and hating the gym i could do with a regular activity that i could do every week of the year, so nothing seasonal.

Any recomendations? I dont particually like football/rugby so i guess they are out!

Swimming?

Golf is pretty much an all year round sport.

If you're that lazy then darts or snooker.

would need to be something i could do with a "club" as i wouldnt want to have to rely on ibdividuals to turn up for the sport.

i want something physical. squash? can you join clubs as such?

I would say Badminton. Round my way there are quite a few Badminton 'clubs' (really a gang of people with a regular booking at the local sports hall), and the standard is varied enough that a beginner would not be that much worse than some of the other players for too long

About the right time for the start of Adult Education classes. Pick up your local brochure and see what sports they offer. Failing that try one of their flower arranging classes ;)

Kickboxing - join a beginners class, loads of clubs and most wouldnt have you doing any contact other than focus pad work unless you wanted to train as a fighter. Improves fitness, flexibility and strength.

Improves fitness, flexibility and strength.Speaking of which, the most fit I've ever been in my life was while I was taking karate lessons.

DANCESPORT - Latin Ballroom, can't beat it.

If you wanna go on the razz and pull some totti as well try a bit of Salsa and then hit your local city, there is always a club somewhere.

Martial Arts wise Aikido is pretty good or Tai Chi.
