Can i use sky ext cable for tv use?

This is probably a stupid question but i bought an extension cable for my sky box, ended up binning the sky because it wasnt working. Im now going to put a freeview box in the little'uns room. Can i use this cable as an extension from the splitter in the loft, or will i have to buy tv cable. From what ive read on the packaging they are both 75ohms.

This will allow you to carry the signal, yep. Depending on exactly what you are connecting to, you may need a gender bender (female to female or male to male) but you will see this when you come to connect it up.
